Sikalastic® Rapid PMMA

Sikalastic Rapid PMMA is a two-component high-performance, rapid-setting, polymethyl methacrylate-based (PMMA) liquid resin. It can be used in both Flashing Applications (Sikalastic Rapid-724) and Roofing Applications (Sikalastic Rapid-723). Sikalastic Catalyst is added to the resin to activate the chemical curing process and used in conjunction with Sikalastic Fleece to form a monolithic, self-flashing and self-adhering reinforced waterproofing membrane.

Sikalastic Rapid PMMA is a versatile flashing and waterproofing solution that can address tricky penetration details with a clean look on the finished product. However, it is not only used for complicated details but also is an option for amenity deck areas. If a building owner is interested in their concrete deck, terraces, or balconies having a raw finish to them but at the same time incorporating a tasteful appearance, Sikalastic Rapid PMMA offers a range of colors for owners to choose from. If the space is intended for tenant use, a slip-resistant coating can be applied to ensure tenant safety and comfortability.
